Lee Myung bak cracks heads of protesters

It is now going on to two months since the streets of Seoul are the stage of massive protests against president Lee's decision to allow re importation of US beea. Protesters are calling for his resignation. It looked for a brief moment that Lee had managed to calm the streets by renegotiating his thoughtless agreement with Washington on US beef. But he's known as 'Bulldozer' and bull doze did he the protest by allowing the beef in. And with one push of the plow, he turned over the field of discontent once more to the protesters. Not only that the protest has gained in depth and appeal. Catholic clergy have taken to the street, holding processions and outdoor masses, something not seen since and reminiscent of the days when Korean Catholic with the blessing of cardinal Kim challenged the Yushin constitution of dictator Park Chung Hee. Lee is tone deaf and has learnt nothing from his country's history or the feelings of his fellow citizens. And so he's called on the police to crack heads. Which will only make his opponents on the street dig in more firmly. Bulldozer Lee has dug his own grave. Street protests have so isolated him from his people, and brought dissension within his own Grand National Party which holds a majority in parliament, that sooner than later, he's going to have to step down.
