Spitzer Redux

18Brumaire urged former governor Eliot Spitzer to hold his ground and not tender his resignation. We however hadn't all the messy details at our fingertips. Alas this savvy, progressive man who humbled the mighty of Wall Street ended up tripping over the tied shoe laces of his own sexual appetite. He transferred unintelligently funds from one account to another; this raised a red flag, and the bank alerted the Feds lest it be guilty of aiding and abetting in money laundering and all that sorry 'sin' entails. Spitzer thought with his wrong head--the one between his legs and not the good noggin on his shoulders. Thus he know walks in the footsteps of shame and scandel which the likes of Britain's minister John Pufumo did almost a half-century ago. Here is a sad lesson to learn!
