McCain on Iraq & Iran, Obama on race in America

John McCain once again put his foot into his mouth...claiming Teheran is training Al Qaeda in Iraq. Luckily his travelling companion during his swing in the Middle East that awful Joe Lieberman from Connecticut, was on hand to whisper into the bathtub admiral that he didn't mean Al Qaeda but terrorists! Here's a man who is going to be the Republican party's candidate for the Oval Office who has difficultly like Herr Bush of telling reality from his own wishes. Boy, America is in bad shape!
Barak Obama gave an important speech on race in America which everyone who heard it knew was a major turn in oratory and expose of the racial red thread that runs through American society. Thanks to the intemperate preaching of his own pastor Wright, the junior senator from Illinois was forced to address the issue head on. As a man with a white mother and an African father, he is in a position to deal with the matter with a high degree of dispassion. Not only that he can see the hurts and the gripes on both sides of the racial divide. And he proved himself more than qualified and able to speak on the matter. In a way he cleared the air, and showed he is made of presidential timber.
